I am thinking about buying a new reel. Callcuta 400 -=-good -- bad -- problems -- do they last?
thanks

My buddies run 3 of them, while not as smooth and durable as a Luna they have held up great for 3 seasons so far.

SHIMANO 400TE has High Efficiency Gears, it has a pinion gear and main gear that is 20% bigger than a Luna !!!!
So this reel will pull in 10 blades with ease.

Any truth to Shimano coming out with a level wind saltwater reel?
