Subject: Osbourne Bay / Nivens Bay question

Hi guys,

Heading up to Century Lodge for the first time on August 4. Question for those of you who have fished this area before during that time frame....

Can I target muskies in the Nivens Bay area at that time of year, or is that too shallow, too warm, too weed choked by this time of year to be productive? In other words is that simply a spawning area, or is there a year round resident musky population in Nivens that is still fishable in August?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

There are fish down there all year long. It's not as shallow or weedy as the map makes it sound. It has tons of deep water and a lot less weeds than you would think.
