Location: Crystal Lake, IL | Has anyone fished Silver lately? I was thinking about spending a half day this weekend and was wondering if anyone had an update. I was wondering if it was worth the trip from Crystal Lake for a half day or should I focus my efforts more local (on Crystal Lake) which is about 1 mile from my house.
Thanks in advance,

Location: Plover, WI | Was out today for about 4 hours. One small follow came off the deep weed edge. Fished shallow, deep and everywhere inbetween. Weed growth is good, just have to find the active fish. I seem to have a hard time with that.
Thats my report, from one guy with only four hours of free time. Take it as you wish.

Location: Sturgeon Bay WI | Havent been out since late last week, dont really fish Silver on the Weekends, for obvious reasons. Weeds are up strong, if you can pick a day with poor weather = less boat traffic you will have a good shot @ a fish. Temps were 76-78 late last week, water clearity was GREAT, and we were pulling fish off the defined breaks with cranks!! Good luck... |

Location: Crystal Lake, IL | Thanks for all your information. Unfortunately I had boat issues that day and never made it out. I hope to get out soon and when I do will post my results. Thanks again!

Location: Crystal Lake, IL | I still haven't had time for Silver but hopefully in September when the water temps begin to drop...that's when the fun begins!

| Well, water temps are over 80, Glenn and I had 80.2-81 today! We moved a few fish, and decided it was to warm to chase the slime. Cool nights should have the temps down pretty quick! Heavy traffic as ALWAYS
