Subject: Muskiefisherman and women deployed overseas?

Does anyone know of any muskie fishing men or women that are in the service and are currently deployed overseas? I've got a bunch of old muskie magazines, books, and dvds that are just sitting around collecting dust that would be much better served being sent to someone who would appreciate them. If you feel comfortable, please post the name/address here or email me directly at [email protected].

Thanks!

I think this is great, but I think most of us would be more willing to participate if we knew to whom we were sending information about our loved ones overseas.

Do a search for Operation second chance. Cindy should be able to help you - she sure helped us when my bro was in Iraq & especially when he came back injured. Top notch operation!

This a really great suggestion.

There are hundreds of military blogs on the Internet maintained by our men and women in uniform over in Iraq and Afghanistan. If someone would start positing on some of them about the availability of Muskie related materials and provide a link or some info about how the soldier could access them ... I am confident that they would spread the word about it over there.

Now this is a suggestion that truly has some value. Quite different than the self-important "I do this and I do that for the Muskies, Inc. cause ..."

Imagine how someone way over there (who fishes for Muskies) would feel being supported in that manner!

One of the best suggestions I've ever seen on this board.

if you go on muskyhunter, a guy named hunts organizes something like this and knows where to send them
