I'm knocking the rust off the equipment and going up to Crescent Lake, in Onieda County, tomorrow afternoon. The forcast has a monster front going through late on Friday. Hopefully we can get some cooperative muskies before that happens.
We need something good to happen!
John Smokie Laimon, hang in there, things will get better!

Musky Road Rules School on the Chippewa Flowage . . . . . maybe this old dog can learn a few new tricks. Leaving early this afternoon so I can fish the rest of today and tomorrow morning until the school starts at noon.

I'll be out from Friday evening through July 6th hitting a variety of places.... Black River Flowage, Lake Eau Claire, the Eau Claire River, the Cornell Flowage, and maybe a few others.

Just got back from LOTW for the Muksie opener. Fishing was great. Four of us went up there. Caught seven fish in 5 days. Missed a few. Saw a lot of lookers. We moved a lot of big fish, just couldn't entice any to eat. The resort owners where we stayed said the walleye guys have been catching quite a few muskies up there. Fish are definitely moving on LOTW.

Headed up to the rhinelander area for the duration of next week, have the week off work, so I might as well be fishing, buddy lives in rhinelander so I'll be stayin with him. He lives about 5 minutes from Crescent lake so sure I'll make a stop in there once or twice, would like to try some night fishing out there, otherwise wherever I feel like goin in the morning I guess, mohawksin, nokomis, big arbor vitae, big st. germain, Boom lake, julia, whichever I feel like goin to I guess, probably be fishin by myself for the majority of the day during the week so if you see me out there stop and say hi, maybe we could team up for a couple hours. Silver crestliner 1750 fishhawk. I should be on daily to give a report. Good luck everyone!

Vilas for 10 days:)  Cold front hitting the day of departure...figures.  Lows in the 40s...nice.   Maybe we should trade the stash of pounders for a stash of spring dawgs...

Say hi if you see a G3 jon drifting the deep.
