Location: Grand Rapids MN | It seems like a lot of people have had a chance to put the Okuma through some time and punishment so I wanted to hear any experiences you might of had with them. Mostly how did they hold up to the big spinners and ripping mag dawgs (or SuperD's!!!). I'm a lefty (on a budget) so it limits me to my choices and I've been leaning a long time towards the Okuma.
Thanks in advance for any experiences you share. |

Location: Racine, Wi | I've been throwing XX's, Weagles, DDD's, Mag Dawgs and many other baits on them and am loving them. I have a couple that got thrown alot last year and are still working great. Picked up a few more this year as well. Great reel for the money. |

Location: Workin' the deep breaks | I have a Induron and it is by far the best reel you can buy for the money if you want to throw big bucktails. I liked my friend's reel so much I finally went and bought one. Supermodels and regular DCGs are a breeze. What's better yet, the customer service is extraordinary. I just had an issue with my reel 2 days ago and Mark (California_Musky) responded by shipping me a part from his own personal stock in the same day. Really can't say enough here...

I tried to burn one out last year with a ridiculous amount of use...couldn't do it. |

Location: Grand Rapids MN | Thanks for the replies everyone. Glad to see the reports are the same as a year ago. I've over looked the 250's thinking they were to small but I see they are about the same size (capacity) as my Record 61 and 5501, 5601's. So there's more options for me to check out.
Thanks again... |
