I have been calling Lowrance customer service for 2 days and getting a busy signal. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the phones in the area or with Lowrance itself?

Thanks

Ray

Keep trying. I was on hold for 45 minutes the other day with them. You shouldn't receive a busy signal though.

Try this number: 918/437-6881. Be patient, it will take some time before they get to you, but they will get to you. Otherwise, the option to leave a message is there. I took that option earlier this season, and was pleasently surprised when a very knowledgeable customer service rep called me back the next day. If these options do not work for you, PM or email me and I will connect you with the guy that called me and then sent me detailed specs to help with my problems.

Keep trying.  I was on hold for about 30 minutes, but eventually spoke with a VERY helpful individual.  I had to send in my unit (problems with the GPS interface).  11 days later, a new unit appeared at my office.  The new unit seems to be working well (although I had to have my son show me how some of the bells and whistles work - must be an age thing).

I gave up on the phone thing and just emailed them. They got back with me so I could get a Return Authorization number to send the unit in. It was a standard $300 to send the unit in, and they replaced it with a different refurbished one.

I had a problem updating the software in my LCX26c-HD. The dealer also had difficulty. Finally he was on the phone (dealers only number) with Lowrance and they discovered that my harddrive was toast. Good News: The problem was found & the dealer learned how to recognize the symptoms of a toasted harddrive (apparently a rare occurrence}. Good News #2: My unit works! Bad News: The cost was $300.
