Location: Stevens Point, WI | Spent a few days casting around Yellowstone Lake in SW Wisconsin. I did get a 40.5 in pike along with some other nice ones, but only saw one little muskie. Any ideas? I know there are big fish in there, but is it all night action due to the waterskiers/tubers/jetskiers, or all live bait due to the fishing pressure? Does anyone consistently catch fish on that lake? |

| use to fish it quite a bit in the late 90s and we always had action...we pretty much fished from the dam down the river channel...best luck along the banks casting spinnerbaits, jointed cranks, believers...tough lake to fish imo with the muddy water makes it hard to feel too confident... have heard of some doing ok but nothing great...i'd concentrate on the river channel as there is always tons of bait in there..trolling is tough in that area with the many submerged tree's to get your lures hung up on...better lakes in southern wi to fish than this imo. |

Location: Madison, WI | Didn't look 49", I talked to the guys mom and dad at the sauk city ace hardware before the picture was even posted online. Both of them can attest to the 57 inches, his dad was the one that netted the fish. |
