| hey guys, i just registered on the site, but have been learning a lot from this site for a while now. i live in iowa and fish muskies quite a bit, as much as possible. i have had a chance come up to go to Vermillion in September and stay at Glenmore resort, some of the other group members plans have fallen through due to our flooding situation here in Cedar Rapids.
Have any of you actually stayed at Glenmore? It is located on the eastern part of the lake. What is the fishing like on that part of the lake during early September? Just looking to have a great first experience at a world-class muskie fishery.
Thanks for any help provided to a newbie! | |

| Jonny, I stayed at the Glenmore for a week last year and will be there the middle of July this year. Leroy and his wife are extremley outgoing and the resort is very well kept. The resort is half way back Pike Bay(far southeast side of the lake). A little tricky coming back in the dark, but very doable with GPS. Leroy not much of a musky man, but will make certain you have a good time.
