Location: Kronenwetter, WI | I had my partner back out of a trip to V that was to be for camping from 7/7-7/11... AAUUUGGGHHH!!
Now I'm looking at lengthening my second trip by including a visit to Mille Lacs during the last week of July.
Can anyone recommend a campground that would be near good water for that time of year on ML?

| You can check out either Kathio or Father Hennipen state parks. I just spent 5 days in the camper cabins at Kathio and thought they were decent. Only problem with Kathio is you're not right on ML, but about 3-4 miles away. On the other hand it was nice to trailer the boat to where we wanted to fish & not have to cross the pond. |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Have reservations for a motel room at Fisherman's Wharf on Mille Lacs with our first day spent with Brad Hoppe....seems like a decent area...anyone stayed there? |
