i have a humminbird 777 on the bow, hooked up to a minn kota terrova with universal sonar...everything looks great on the 777 until i get in water deeper then 10ft...then i have interference? any help?

Is the console unit on, and does it have a wide angle transducer? I could see interference happening in this case. Does the interference go away if you turn off the console unit?

Not familiar with the newer HBird units(yet), and the interference between two of them, or the lack thereof.

one more thing....the only time i get interference is when the trolling motor is on.

Do you have that unit powered from one of the TM batteries. If so, that is the problem. Power it from the starting battery.

the only thing powered by the trolling motor batteries is the trolling motor
