if you are with 2 people try twisting it under running hot water and i mean HOT.

Location: nappanee IN | put the rod behind your knees and grab hold of the rod with both hands and use the leverage from your legs and spread your legs the same time you pull with your hands, works for me on my 1 2-piece rod that i own..karol |

| Here's a trick to make sure two pieces don't get stuk.....
twist the male end of the two piece against the place where your nose meets your cheek. There's oil in them tar pores. Works. |

| Ice it down until you're sure the rod is cold the whole way through. Then get the rod in a position where you can pull it apart and use a hair dryer or heat gun to apply heat to the joint. The outside piece will expand first and if you're pulling the pieces apart when that happens you should be able to get them apart. |
