Hey Norm (or anyone who would like to chime in):

A buddy and I have a chance to stay for a few days up on the 3 Lakes Chain in early/mid-September. I've noticed that you fish/guide up there early in the season, but not so much mid/later in the year?

How's the fishing up there in Sep? Worthwhile? I guess any time you can fish is a good time - but curious about this specific chain. Also - I'd be interested again in procuring your services up there if we go forward with it. Thanks!

Jeff Sevcik

Jeff

I am sure the fishing is good, but Norm finally has to work during the fall at his regular job. hehe. They don't let him stray to far then, so the fishing should be even better because his client and him won't me sore mouthing to many fish.

Sept, Oct, Nov

Big Lake (southern most lake of chain) north shore, east shore. Suckers, glide baits and twitch baits RIPPED. Hold onto your shorts during that time. Keep you boat in 12'-18' of water and cast towards shore. Cribs in that area.

Make sure to hit the point half way down the east shore. It goes out into the lake a ways. Stay on the shallow edge (3'-5') and cast OUT to deeper water and bring in the baits then work suckers in the 12'-15' range.

Jeff, definetly worth while. I just usually get all caught up in Pelican that time of year.

Much more than just Big Lake...Lots of water out there.
