well if i only fish with a line 10-15 days a year how often should i switch it or replace it. i know most people go two years then rotate the line but will it last longer if you fish less?

I don't think the braided lines have the same issues as mono line, so unless you leave your stuff out in the weather, just check periodically for nicks, cuts, or fraying near the business end of the line, and remove those areas when you find a problem. Now, if in those 10-15 days you are dragging the line over rocks, stumps, and hauling in thrity pounders on your Roz-tails, that's different. m

Try reversing the line. 10-15 days isn't alot of wear but sitting around damp can hurt the integrity of line that has the coating casted off. Sounds like you should be able to get 2 years out of one spool easily.
