Who narrates/announces the In-Fisherman TV show? I've always been curious as to what his name is.........

well, I just checked the latest In-Fisherman video I have (released only 2 weeks ago), and he is listed in the credits as the narrator. So that's him alright...

TB is correct. He is (or at least was) on the radio in the Brainerd area as well. Brueland, I believe, is the spelling of his last name.

The guy is unreal, you can find him at the Last Turn Saloon in Brainerd sitting at his seat at the bar, I sat there drunk and listened to him talk all night once. He has a unique voice for sure.

Barry Brueland has been on WJJY 106.7 FM out of Brainerd for many many years. He has always done the narration for in fisherman television since I first remember seeing it way back in the early early 80s.

A voice that is definitely one of THE best in the radio business... Love listening to him.

I had family in Brainard for many years and the first time I was up there fishing and had the radio on in the boat and heard that voice, immediately I was "hey, that's the in-fisherman guy" and they were like, no, that is the guy on the radio.....

Funny.

Yup, there you go...

I wonder if the folks at Aqua Vu know that they misspelled his last name in the credits of their "Muskies Live!" DVD...

"Narrated by Barry Bruland"

In-Fisherman produced this DVD, not Aqua-Vu. So the spelling was sort of their deal.

Well, that's even more curious then isn't it?

Sort of an "oops" there, I guess...
