Location: WI | Ten minutes into fishing today the lightning started so I went home. When I backed the boat into the garage I found that the wheel jack was broke so I couldn't unhook the trailer.
Luckily a friend was driving into town and he went and bought me a new one and we switched it out. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I got to fish a little longer than you did before I got ran off, but we didn't catch anything if it makes you feel better. Got off the lake in time, but got caught in a dandy hail/wind/rain storm on the way home. Thought for sure I was going to have some bad hail damage, but just two barely noticable tiny dings in the truck's roof.

Location: Arena WI | Started out I broke my 100 dollar shades, then my terrova deployed at 45 mph which broke the shaft. So I headed home and pushed the boat into the garage and realized a bearing went out and recked the spindle which is welded on so I need a new axle. May I never have another day like that.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I spent several hours last week in the evenings getting the puddle jumper ready because I sold my 1890; washed, waxed, polished, rewired, and generally made her look like a shiny new penny; got the baits ready, rods in the boat, vests, and safety stuff stowed, net and release tools transfered. Fuel pump ( or something) went out on the 4 stroke 40 hp after an hour and a half on the water. Saw a few, so it could have been worse. Off to the dealer tomorrow to get the puddle jumper fixed, and spent today getting the back-up rig out of mothballs and fired up so we can fish League tomorrow night. Sue and I were headed out tonight, but the winds are rising and temps falling...a hard freeze tonight and tomorrow. Oh well, there's lots of year left. |

Location: WI | birdnest, sorry your terrova deployed in flight. Happened to us too. Have heard it has happened to others. Call the company. They should help.

Location: ROckford IL | My friend had a trolling motor deploy while he was driving, he called Cabelas where he got it and told them what happened and they had him send back the broken motor and sent him a brand new one, it should not be a problem |

| Was the green light off on the Terrova? Was the motor "locked" in place? The "click" is the sign. A "buddy" ripped my 1st one off last season at 45 mph, but that was operator error and he's a moron. He pleaded to Minn Kota and ....viola', new Terrova. Steve |

| mine deployed at 50mph. no im not a moron,(wife says i am sometimes) and green light was off.
i highly advise ANYONE with a terrova to get a ram mount and lock it down every single time.
i believe those fingers that rotate up as u pull up are defective.
however, minnkota stood by their product and repaired it for no cost. i did have to buy a new prop. they r never covered.'

Location: Arena WI | Sounds like lifetime warranties on the shaft. as far as the green light and click I dont know since I am semi-color blind and hearing impaired and dont wear my aids in the boat. |
