Location: Tomahawk, WI | Here's my problem. When you start the motor up after a few hours or a day, it runs fine. But if you try to start it right away after running it, or even up to 2-3 hours after, it won't start. It will run for a couple seconds but then die. Plenty of fresh gas, new battery, new fuel bulb. It did the same thing last summer and the only thing the mechanic could think to do was to change the fuel bulb. It seemed like it helped for a little while, but then it was back to its old tricks. It was one of those things where it ran fine for him, but he did notice that the fuel bulb was a little soft.
Any suggestions? | |

| Could be the eletric enrichner is not working properly or is sticky. It is the white thing with 2 yellow wires going to it on top of the carb. Pull it out and measure how far out the needle is, hook it up to 12 volts and see if the measurement changes. Also make sure that it is getting 12 volts when it is running. | |
