| Very nice bait. It amazes me how you can make the fibers on the fins look so perfect. I tried to imitate your baits when I made the tail for my swimbait and it looked okay, but not anything close to what you do, so I pitched it and tried something else. To be honest, the shad swimbait I made was pretty much an imitation of the shad lures you have made that I saw last year on the calfishing website. I had a shad lure all planned out to carve, but the goal was to make it a giant jerkbait. Then I saw your lures and thought I would give the swimbait thing a try, since the fish I chase here in Indiana are pretty much shad eaters. I had fun, but it is almost too much trouble to do, so I definitely am in awe of how quick you can turn these things out with the quality you do. |
