Tim, yes, it was screaming at an osprey. Throughout the course of the day she ate 5 of our crappies and got within an astonishing 15 feet. I'll load that part tonight. Just breathtaking how close she came and just how big she was.

That is cool, it amazes my sometimes how bold bald eagles can be.
Like the time I had a 6'9" St. Croix with a sucker attached to it stolen out of my boat by an eagle. Then I had to put my net over it and unhook it!
Once you get up close to a full grown bald eagle you gain a new appreciation for how majestic they are.

We feed the Eagles minnows and perch up by us. They'll walk within 10-20 ft to get a free meal. A bird like this who attempts to winter in northern wis gets a freebee in my book.

The bird eventually closed the 10 foot mark for crappie number 5. I'll load that photo soon. Thanks for the comments.

That's pretty neat! It must've been screaming at an immature bald eagle, osprey's are down in the tropics during winter. They can't tolerate much below 40 degree's.
