I just wanted to put a good word in for Okuma. I have an Okuma Induron that needed a new clutch bearing. I wrote Mark (California_Muskie) and he very kindly sent me out one. Well, after installing the bearing the reel didn't feel the same, I'm sure I assembled something incorrectly. Anyway, I mailed the reel to Mark and within one day, he not only replaced the bearing but also rebuilt the reel for me at no cost!

There are alot of good reels on the market but face it guys, service like this is impossible to beat!

Thank you Mark!

Thats the kind of stuff that made me buy 6 Okuma Convectors, 6 Magda Pro's, and 6 Induron 400's. Great stuff!!

Holy Smokes, Bryan - that's a lot of reels.

I've seen so many posts about good customer service from Okuma. It's good to hear there are companies that still know what customer focus and standing behind a product mean in the fishing marketplace.

I live close to Lake Mich here in Indiana. We do alot of spring salmon fishing running 6 to 8 rods at a time. Then I have others set up for King Salmon/Musky trolling. I also was lucky to find a guy like Mik-Lurch tackle shop. Okuma is so good about the service he lets us swap out for new reels IF there is a problem, as Okuma will service him quickly.
