Looking to buy a new Reel this year, Any suggestions for a good all purpose reel.

Depends what you want it to do. If I had to pick one it'd be a Calcutta TE. If I wanted the best reel for the $$$ it'd be the Luna or Curado 300. Just my opinion.

I'd definitely take a look at the new Okuma Red Isis. Had one in my hands the other day and wow, was I impressed. The drag system was so smooth and that big handle was like a winch. That reel should handle anything you throw at it.
