Long title, huh?

Just wondered if some of you guys who HAVE fished Moose Lake-Hayward in early to mid June might be willing to share what some topwaters are that you've found to be good catchers out over the stumpfields?

Thanks!!

Hawkeye, I like slow moving topwaters that time of year, Prop baits, toppers, and slow moving globes...Specificaly, Bitten Tackles topper with stainless blades ( great sound and runs SLOW ) Sennetts smaller pacemaker, Poes Jackpot or Mania Doc, AHL globes and Bitten Tackles creeper........All in Black, Chipmunk or Black and Orange....I also like using standard size Reef Hawgs and Hawg Seekers slow tease in Perch, Walleye, Orangr/Black and Redhorse.....Bucktails in Orange and Black, Firetiger and a Walleye pattern ( this time of year there should be Eyes in the stumps so walleye patterns work well ) If you target walleyes in this area while you are up there dont be surprised if a Ski latches on while you are bringing one in.. Also if you are fishing early June try the Smallies on Leeches and bobber around the bridge by Sportsmens and throw floating frog style baits over the Rice grass on the right side up from the bridge( the rice grass should be laying down and holding Skis around the small lillypads patches ) Good Luck and have an awesome trip!!!!!!!!
