| Had a 38" eat a L'il Huster "Perch" Swim Jig today..... I like this lure to change things up.
Hit came just as the sun peaked out at 11:00am, on an otherwise cloudy day.. close to a brush pile in 6-10 FOW, 60.8 degrees F.
I used a large 8" grub in chartruse as a trailer.
Anyone using these Jigs.. what do you think.... ?
What is your trailer of choice ?
Straight mod/fast retrieve seems to work best for me.

| I love the lil hustler swim jigs, very nice quality.I usually tip mine with a paddle tail swim shad of some type rigged flat.Medium to fast retreive is what i start with and i let the fish tell me whats up from there. Some times i swim these baits with a lift drop and somtimes a strait steady retrieve and sometimes a strait as fast as i can burn with some hard rips thrown in now and then.I try and lpay attention and let the fish tell me what they want that day.Great baits, | |
