With gas prices soaring.....I was considering a new hybrid boat that I found on e-bay. Any input on top speed?

a buddy of mine has one, he says that there's not very good storage, but a 2 manpower motor gets it up on plane pretty easy!

I heard in one review that if you fished in it solo it always seemed to pull to the left.

not to take away from this post, but it really can be an issue with having a boat/gas prices/towing/and storage, so it was a birthday gift that led me to owning a Waterskeeter personal pontoon. I love the thing, it fits in the trunk of my toyota, and can be assembled in 10 minutes. Most of the musky lakes where I fish are an average of an hour away, so making that trip every weekend with a truck and trailered boat can hit the wallet pretty good, so I've found a relatively effective method around it. I've caught muskies up to 40 inches out of it. I've taken it all the way from the Bays of Lake Erie to the Atlantic Ocean (for mackeral!) and have never felt that I compromised my safety. So if you've got alot of small musky lakes around you, want some good exercise, and don't have the means to tow a boat or kayak, maybe this would be an effective method to get yourself more time on the water....let alone all the crew girls I meet rowing

The funny thing is, I caught a 46" tiger out of a paddle boat at the lake my parents live on. If I can scan the polaroid of it I'll see if I can post it.

anybody seen the paddle boat on Okauchee that the paddles were removed and a 25hp on the back? The thing has 8 rod holders a and an electric on it as well. I couldn't believe this thing. I'll try to get a pick next time I'm out.
