My boys would like to express their gratitude to their 'sponsors' for their cars that were entered in the AWANA Grand Prix (our church's version of the Pinewood Derby). They thought it would be cool to have cars w/ sponsor stickers like real race cars so good ol' Dad asked a few of his friends in the musky world to cough up some stickers for their cars.
So many thanks to Luke at Muskie Mojo, Joel at Hawgseekers, Rick at Lax Reproductions and Mark at Okuma for your generous donations for their cars. Good people with good products (and ones that I personally use; well, I basically just drool at the Lax replica on my wall...).
By the way, Nik got 2nd, 3rd, 3rd and 4th place finishes in the runs in his heat and Dane got 1st, 2nd and 3rd in his heat runs.

Thanks again guys!

Sorno

I remember building those with my boys, and hope to do so with my grandkids before too awful long. Cool wraps on those screamers.

I see one of the kids has it together on his color scheme as well. Love the Packer colors of the one car, but both are cars are very cool. I bet they had a blast making them!

What "pinewood" derby cars should look like. I have seen some that looked like they were professionally built in a machine shop, actually, where I grew up many of them were built right in caterpillar!
