Where are you headed this month to pound the water for Muskies? We can't fish for a couple more weeks until Northern WI season opens, but Sue and I will open on Moen and George, and hit a couple Woodruff area lakes too. Can't wait!!

I'm heading to northern PA this weekend, spend two days on some small muskie lakes, and a day on Erie chasing smallmouth. Can't wait.

I've been fishing local IN waters and will fish Lac Vieux Desert and North/ South Twin on the 24th & 26th (my 40th). Will probably hit the Cisco Chain on the 25th or 27th.

Likely on the Flambeau Chain for the opener, as well as another local lake or 2. Bot it'll sure feel good to be out again!

probably stay at home with Becky this weekend, we might get out for a bit of fishing together on Saturday in Madison. between Mother's Day on Sunday and Charlotte's birthday on Monday, it'll be a tough weekend.

the 17/18th is the Petenwell Musky Challenge, the best-run tournament around!
last time i checked there's still some room for a couple more boats:

i'm toying with the idea of going camping to my favorite lake in northwest WI for the northern opener...we're usually the only tent in the campground and the only boat fishing muskies...hard to find on a holiday weekend.

good luck wherever you go!

For May, local 'trips' mainly; hard to say that they're much of an excursion when the ramp is 8 miles from my driveway. I'm certainly not complaining about that either!
I have one camping trip planned for 16-18th, but there's no muskies there, mostly walleye and northern pike.

I'll hit my "local" lakes in Indiana only once in the month of May. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 16th thru the 18th....

I'm on a "once a month" average right now for fishing.

Work and family life is keeping me at bay...

Time for the Walking Bulls to herd up, isn't it?
I'll be heading up your way for a while I think.
Might hit The River for some muti-species fishing too.

After the results of the last few May's, I might just wait until June to start fishing!
