Who fished Muskies, and what was the result of the trip?

I am beginning to get impatient, guess I'll have to hit the southern WI water at least once in early May.

Chad Cain's Guide team on Lake Kinkaid has hooked some pigs. We have been beating the water to a froth and seeing some real nice Southern Illinois muskies. If any one is looking for a quick fix give us a call or check us out at chadcain.com

Hit the fox chain yesterday, Saw a little guy on a spinner bait that was it. Trolled the shallows no luck either.

Caught a 37 on a Crane bait and had another similar size fish miss, follow a few more times, then disappear.

Got a few bass and a pike on Sunday afternoon on a little private lake (love the jig and pig this time of year and husky jerks). But MORE importantly, got my new fence put up on Saturday and even better it's still standing as of this morning!! Now I just have to get the old fence out of the driveway so I can get the boat out on Saturday for the opener. Yeeee Haw, honey do list is officially complete for the winter.

Went to a creek in ohio with my one of my buddys. He raised 3 and lost 2 good ones and i raised 1 good one. All the fish we saw were upper 30's maybe 40's and one big fish that i have seen for the past 3 years but cant get her to go. At least 45 inches. Very good creek fish.

MAM O MAN I had a super pattern for a few days till this crazy weather. We put 39 fish in the boat in 3 days on the water. All fish were chaught trolling on the chain. Fri we manged 5 PB My wife got a 48 spot (The largest spot ever chaught out of the chain) and my buddy and PMTT partner brought his 10 year old daughter out (Lexy) for the first time musky fishing. She got a 24 within the first half hour put her in the net to get the camera and she swam thew . About 100yrd down she boated a nice 33.5 and on are way back to the dock she boated a 48. I think she may be hooked

30 MPH winds out of the west made the Clear Lake tourney almost imposisble fishing conditions...not a single fish caught by any boat in the tourney but a few misses reported...only a month and a week till the Minnesota opener though...hopefully the ice north is gone...

Got a little 30"er down at 3 mile, missed another about the same size and had another little follow. Very Cold Windy weekend and a major bass tournament made fishing very, very difficult. Only fished a couple hours on Sun., so many boats it just wasn't worth staying for me. Come on MN opener... I'm ready for you.

Fished 3 mile as well Sunday morning. Caught 2 nice bass. One was 18 3/4 and the other was 19 3/4. Wonder what won the bass tourney? Had a follow from a small muskie as well. Bass boats were buzzing everywhere.
