Location: mn | They look very nice. Im guessing the clevis is for the hooks. You might want to use split rings instead. You may also want to pick up some round nose pliers for a cleaner loop. Ive found them at fleet farm before. Have fun with them. |

| no i do not paint my blades a friend of mine painted that willow for me. he paints some of my double 10's as well. what is wrong with putting a hook on the clevis? are they weak?

Location: oswego, il | The bucktails look great. One other thing you may want to consider here is your blade spacing with the body. The willow may get into the tinsel and the blade may be hard to start. I have seen this happen on other baits with similar spacing. They do look great! |

| i tested them today and they work great. you have to reel them at a pretty good pace though. no slow rolling with these baits. they will be great for over weed beds in the early summer and on through the season though.
