| Picked up my new 1850 FishHawk Muskie Edition 2 weeks ago.
My steering wheel is centered, but is upside down!
How easy is this to fix? Or should I just have the dealer do it? It is hydraulic, no-feedback steering with tilt wheel.
Thanks,

| I seen this happen once. You will get used to casting with your feet.[;)] | |

| Not entirely sure if this is serious or not but... THe center thing is just a badge that will start popping out periodically when you hit some bgi waves. So you could either wait for it to pop out so you can put it back in right, or take a tiny screwdriver and pry it up and re-stick it in there. I'm thinking that I might put a dab of silicon glue on mine this year so it will stay in place, but still be potentially removable in case a guy ever needed to remove the wheel for some reason. Which I suppose is the other thing, if you are convinced that the wheel is truly mounted upside down, pry off that badge and you can access the nut to take it off and put it back on. Just make sure you use some blue loctite when re-installing to help ensure that you don't find yourself going 50 mph with a disconnected steering wheel in your hand some time. | |
