Location: Yahara River Chain | Yes, for topwaters like the Jackpot. Braid is too dense and tend to sink in the middle of a long cast and when the bait reaches that part in goes underwater which I don't like. Dacron still afloat longer. | |

| I do. Have been for almost 30 years with NO failures. But only for jerkbaits,gliders,and plastics. Only use 36lb. and 45ib.,nothing lighter. I've tried superbraids when they first came out, maybe 15 years ago. It was called Stren Kevlar. But after a couple of snap offs with some expensive baits ending up at the bottom of the lake,just decided to go back to the ole reliable-Cortland Musky Master. I know braids have come along way since then, but old habits are to hard to break. And, in my opinion, an agrressive musky could care less what line u are using. Kdawg | |
