| Has anyone else seen this?
I bought 3 new 6 inch Hawgs at the Milwaukee Expo this past winter. Used them for the first time Saturday and the two that I used cracked lengthwise. I assume the third will also.
I did not do anything unusual, they were not left in the sun or anything else that I could think of but the first one cracked within a couple of hours of using it.
I would like to contact Fudally directly but their website does not have an e-mail or a phone number.
Can anyone help out?

| I have about 25 of them.....they're all cracked.
I used to put some epoxy over the crack, now I don't bother, they take on some water and get neutrally bouyant after a while. Just the nature of the beast I guess.

| That's normal Don. At least for the ones I own and for the ones I've heard about from others. They usually run better after they crack too.

| you should get ahold of happy hooker, he cracks his on purpose if they dont do it on their own. |

Like everyone said, they all crack!!!
Doesn't seem to bother the action of the bait, actually helps it, soaks up a little water and stays right in the strike zone.

| In my opinion you want this to happen, I actually soak mine in a bucket of water to get them to crack and absorb water prior to use and I also do the same thing to my Suicks after I stick them them with my knife in a few places, they work alot better once there water logged. [:praise:] |

| I agree with Chuck. I make sure all of my wood baits have some exposed wood and gouges. It makes them hang just a little bit more, and you can work them slower if needed. |

Wow, when you have some of the best musky people on the planet tell you they are better this way how could I give them up! I guess I will stand pat for now and check them out.
