| yep, they work just fine. Keith created a great bait for getting at shallow water spots.
i suggest shrink-wrapping the rear hook to help reduce missed hits.

| I had a bunch of people happy with how the Krook worked for them last year. I did a fair amount of video with this bait in 07 with my hat camera but I did not have time to get it all together this winter and download it. This will be a 08 project for winter viewing.
I have kept the Krook off the radar this year for a reason. I had a few problems with the manufacturing of the bait, primarily paint. The hole through the center caused some problems that I think has been figured out. The wood body was absorbing water which caused the paint and coating to flake off. My painter is now using sanding sealer to seal the bait. It seems to be working. The other reason is time. I just did not have time to build any before the shows because of rod orders.
As soon as I get them figured out I am going to be sending some to Musky Tackle Online for Aaron to sell. That will be the only place to get them this summer. They should be there in a couple weeks.
Wish I would not have had such a quick trigger. I would have had a 3 fish evening on the Krook with Hulbert. NOTE....it is a topwater not a bucktail....Wait Wait Wait.
