i know suckers are a common fish when using live bait for muskies and pike but have any of you guys ever tried using shad, bluegills, crappies,or small bass for muskies? using sucker isnt bad but there are a lot of those fish i mentioned in my lake and i figured that the muskies must eat those too so why not use them for bait...anyone got any good rigs they use for these type of fish? or would a simple circle hook work?

any help would be great!
