| Just read on Walleye Central that Motorguide has discontinued production of the Pinpoint Motors. They indicated that they would come out with a new model under the motorguide name using the pinpoint technology. I wonder what that means for service? I bought one last year and love the motor, but have heard a few horror stories lately(under motorguide's leadership)about service. They can't stop servicing them altogether, can they?

Knock on wood mine has performed perfectly from day one.
Hopefully if true Motorguide will produce a new motor with similar functions and networking capabilities

| Mercury now owns motorguide I have had a problem for a year or so and sent it back to the factory 4 times and it still was not fixed. I called mercury and they arranged to get it fixed all under warranty, it cost me shipping twice. I have not got to use it since I got it back the last time though
