Hi
I am new to the Muskie World. I have been Bass fishing for years with a special love for Smallmouth, last year I caught my first Muskie (37 inches) and was instantly "hooked". Although I still love to catch them smallmouth, I am getting all geared up with the equipment and knowledge to become a muskie fisherman.

We seem to have a lot of Muskie around here so I should have a good source to learn with, but I only know one Muskie guy. I guess I will meet more as I get in to Muskie fishing.

All my bass fishing buddies think Ive lost my mind, but I just cant get that Muskie out of my head. Do you guys have room for one more?

Welcome aboard! Tons of useful information available on this site. More than likely any topic you may have questions on has probably been talked about, the search feature is a wonderful thing. But don't be afraid to ask questions.

Hey Hogjaw, look me up. I also muskie fish and by coincidence live in Berea as well. There are a few of us muskie nuts around Central Ky. I will be heading to the Cave tonight to get ready for the PMTT.
You picked a good site to get some great information.

Thanks fellas,

Ronnie: I would love to tag along with you some time. I know you are probably busy right now if you are fishing a tour. Any time you can give me will be appreciated, even if its just to have a diet pepsi and give me some tips.

Thanks, Jay

Be very careful, These fish have been known to make a man lose his family and all his possesions!!! (LOL) Good Luck!
