Location: Oregon | Been working on this bait for about a month and just now finished painting the first one in a trout pattern. The lure is 10.5 inches long, made from solid plastic and stainless hinges. Still haven't decided on which clear coat to use yet. The lure is a great swimmer, swims well very slow or cranking as fast as you want. Hope you fellow builders like it.

Location: Oregon | Yea, it still needs a line tie that will be right in the mouth of the lure.

Location: canada | looks awesome to me jed, i would go with a spray clear, being plastic its pretty much bullet proof!!! no need for epoxy top coats, IMHO

Location: WI | Mighty nice Jed! I love the box stlye hinge. Very neat looking. I tried it with wood and gave up on the idea. For me, their was to much time involved. |

Location: Oregon | Yes I do like this hinge method better......particularly for big fish like pike and musky.
