Location: Bloomington, MN | I loved Norm's Cat in the Knit Striped Hat disappearing trick! Good Ol'Pelican! I remember walking from Weaver's to Crecent Island many, many years ago! A buddy, Paul Ellner, lost a very BIG fish off the south side when there were weeds on a Perch Hi-Finn Splashtail. An hour after the unfortunate incident he got a 48.5" 31.5 lber (yes, whacked this was a loooong time ago!) off of Sabinois. To this day he still states how much larger the lost fish was compared to the one he caught. As I recall I saw nothing that night! Pelican fish did/do really like that Flaptail Magic in late June & early July. |
