Location: New London, MN | I need some help with buying a new reel. I got a 7'7" heavy bucktail rod that I will be throwing double 10's possible 13's with. Should I go with an Abu 7000, Shimano 700, or what should a guy do. Thanks |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Ajohnson, no. I don't think I saw a 2X13 until this winter. I'm sure it'd handle the lure just fine. |

Location: New London, MN | Brad told me that the difference from the 10's and 13's arent as bad as you would think. The blades on the 13's arent as flat as the 10's?? |

| Nate, my understanding was the opposite, they are flatter than the 10's. I could be wrong, sure wouldn't be the first, or the last. |

| I was considering an abu 7000i. Would this be better with the lower gear ratio @ 4.1-1 compared to the induron at 5.1-1? |

Location: Warroad, Mn | I'll give the 13's a try tomorrow with a Okuma 400 with a power handle and see how it handles them. Seems pretty good with the 10's.

Location: Minnesota | Nateski... basically you cant go wrong with many reels listed in other postings... but just advising you that its sweeter when the company provides excellent service along with rebates... Abu Garcia offers rebates of up to $15 on their reels... so you could get a 7000iC3 for $119.95 from some retailers and after rebate, the reel will just cost you $104.95... cant complain... |

Location: Hugo, MN | Don't forget the Penn 975 for those big blades. I got mine last september and used it exclusively the remainder of the season for everything. It is one nice reel, my instant favorite. |

Location: Chanhassen, MN | I just purchased 2 Induron's off the internet for $94 each, and hope to get the power handle. Have only good things about this reel. Can't wait to get my hands on them.
