| I love your new swimbaits but I have a question for you. Im a local bait maker and Ive been making jerkbaits and gliders for the last past couple of years and want to try my hand at swimbaits. I can figure out all the joints Im just worried about wear damage to the finish at the joint. you know as I do when water soaks in wood bad things could happen. You dont have to say anything but do you prep this area or am I overthinking things |

| You could probably ask Nate also. |

Location: Oregon | You are going to have to expect some wear at these areas and if you get too much clear on the joints they may not run correctly. My suggestion would be to either not worry about it at all or touch up chipped areas areas with devcon as necessary.

| thanks riverman . I just didnt wont make a bait with a weak link if you know what I mean. Losing a fish for myself is not as important as someone else losing a fish. |
