| The weather was absolutely terrible, and the fishing no better. Several anglers tried to brave the horizontal rain Saturday, but were blanked, as was the entire field Sunday.
There was a trip to Berkely, the Heartland Chapter meals and raffles, and plenty of fun indoors at the Other Place, tournament headquarters.
No fish were caught during the event, but several were caught in practice. We voted that the lagest fish of the trip caught by Muskie Treats on a Violent Strike Spinnerbait would take home the trophy! (Pictured)
I had a great time talking fishing with the crew there, despite the weather. Next year, the weather will be PERFECT![:bigsmile:] | |
