The smelt recorded by Aqua-Vu was about a week old, could have made the difference. For Reference it was about a 10 inch smelt.

kool vid.. but it seemed that the pike was waiting for the bait to move. he sunk his teeth into it and turned around and figured it should be squeeling with pain.. but it just hang there..or he was on to you all along and just playing for the camera.. wanting to be the next jaws.....bill

6inches of snow and morning doesn't make the best lighting conditions, but you get the idea.
