Okuma makes a nice telescoping rod. I think it's and 8'6", don't know the model #. These are nice rods, and very affordable.

I've never used them. But I believe Tica also makes some telescoping models. I believe St. Croix might (or they used to) on some of their heavy duty bass flippin' sticks. Not great all purpose musky rods. But they can be good on certain applications for muskies, such as your small to average size bucktails.

bass pro sells a pete maina rod that telescopes. it is 8 ft long and i believe it retracts to 7'6" (not much but still enough to get in a short bed usually). it is rated for 2-8 oz.. their rods have a very flexible tip, which allows you to really sling baits, but it doesnt help for working jerkbaits.

Tica and Okuma, I think Tica has 6 tele rods.
