| What is better the larger ones or the juniors? Are these things supposed to glide side to side or ripped like a ratl-trap with a pause? I have the juniors and all I can get them to do is a slight glide and a minimal belly roll. Ive tried different line sizes and leader lengths-still got nothing... Am I missing something | |

| I think it is the shimmy (wiggle). I use to throw a junior with a lot of belly roll and extreme erratic action. Never caught a fish. Bought a large model and I thought it was a dud. Didn't have that extreme erratic action but as it turned out the fish love the shimmy. Picked up another large model a couple of years ago and the fish like that one also. I have watched fish chase the shimmy so I think a rip-pause technique is a good one. I also take off the solid leader and use 7 strand. | |
