Looks VERY clean, and loads extremely fast. I don't know if you changed anything on that, or it is on my side at this time of day, but it seems to load much faster.

My only complaint is that I can't find register/login. For some reason it doesn't show, and I had to go to my desktop to post (where I'm always logged when I visit.)

Looks great.....while you were updating it was running a bit slower than normal, but nothing too terrible....back to full speed again now though, or at least on my end.

Site looks great...I'm using a Mac in the library and thought maybe that was the reason for it looking different, but then I kind of figured out that it was changed.
(Need to give me a little break...it is after 2:00 in the morning and I've been in the library all day/night)
You guys are definitely in the top-spot as far as musky-sites go...and I'm sure it's the same for the other OutdoorsFirst sites.
As always, Thank You, Jake

So far it looks good. Looks more "smooth".

Nice and clean!
Not sure if I like the way images opens now, I preferred the old way with them open to the left, instead of downwards.

The forum login is on the forums page just below the menu that goes

"forums calendars albums etc"

You can also get to it by clicking the "More" tab.

When I get to the first page(using bookmark) its all garbled up and only shows part of the page. It must be something on my end, but it worked fine last night and I didnt change anything.

Any ideas what it is?

Could be a couple things:

First, try a "hard refresh" by clicking reload (or pressing F5) while holding in the CTRL key

Second AOL and a few other services cache stylesheets and can sometimes take up to a day to pull the new one

What browser and version are you using

What operating system?

Tacklebooty -

Yes we do but haven't made it public yet, however we have been using it internally for 2 months now to publish all of our videos. Still going through the final stages, it will be launching next then followed by BassFIRST and WhiteTail.

The login you see in the upper right corner of Muskiefirst now is the upload login. Unfortunately it's a separate system than the message boards but that single upload login will work across all sites.

So ... you will have a single outdoorsfirst login that will work for uploading and other future features and a separate login for each message board. In th future we will change that to a single login for everything, much in the way Google has done for all of their systems over the years.

Thanks Zach for the upgrade. I'd like to point out a new feature. Click on the 'video' tab, let the page load, and one can left click on any video left to right to select one to view, then left click on the center video to view. This will be a great feature when the upload site opens.

Zach

at some othjer forum sites when you log in it knows what time you where last there. When you go to a discussion it automatically takes you to the spot where you last read based on date and time. Any chance you can make this happen so we don't have to scroll through all posts. It also puts the most recent at the top.

That can all be done but I'm not sure anyone would want the site guessing where they want to be taken sounds kinda Windows Vista-ish to me. The most recent post at the top I can do that too, not sure how that would go over either. Probably depends on what you are used to.

Blogs with recent entries used to be shown on the front page. Is there still a list somewhere showing these? I see the Blogs button next to Control Panel, but that takes me to all the blogs and not those with recent entries.

I need me some Slamr blog and some Jonnysled blog and some Rich D blog and some EA and Pointer blog.

I need blogs aplenty. Me likey the blogs. If anybody is wondering, the term blog is short for web log.

Kevin

Hot out there today.

When i subscribe to the podcasts on my Sony PSP it says no items. I suspect my PSP is just not compatible with your site for some reason but i do subscribe to alot of podcasts that work fine. Probably nothing you can do but thought i would mention it.

Is there any way to just download the mp3's directly? My work doesn't like streaming content from the internet but i can download to my home pc and just bring them to work.

Thanks

It works fine for me in iTunes using the url :

http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/podcast

which is a rewrite reference for:

http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/rss/mfr.asp

Maybe try the second url and let me know if it works for you. If not I suspect the psp is not using the itunes rss spec and i will have to rewrite it to a different spc. Let me know.

Thanks,

MF

I will check those tonight after work. I suspect it will work with the .xml extension. Looking at a site that does work for me.

http://www.1up.com/do/minisite?cId=3149993

If you look at that page just to the left of the Subscribe now via Itunes is that link to subscribe with your own rss reader. That works for me and i see that link ends in .xml

This site works for me also.
http://feeds.ign.com/ignfeeds/podcasts/games/

And then here's the support page for using RSS on a PSP. I see it says the content you subscribe to must be RSS 2.0 compliant.
http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/PSP/RSS/default.html

Thanks

No luck on any of those addresses. It sees it correctly when i enter the address because it says "Do you want to enter this in your RSS feeds" I say yes but when i select it it says No Items.
