With all this talk regarding trophy muskies, I thought it might be interesting to see personal bests of forum viewers. I'm not interested to see who caught what, just where the numbers lie. I want to know if we/I have realistic goals.

Thanks.

Kyle

Are you asking for what we think is a trophy or our personal best? I am confused!

I confused myself. This poll is for personal best and I'm going to put up a trophy poll also. Sorry guys. Thought it would be interesting to compare.

My personal best was a 57-inch beast with a 27-inch girth. Full moon in October and a solid 53 to 55lb fatty.

By the looks of things more people have caught over 50inch than under. Never would have guessed that. Maybe 55 is the new 50?

I can't believe this. Because a lot of us have caught 50s, they mean nothing at all now???

I highly doubt that 1/2 or more of the people on this board have caught a true 50" plus fish. I was afraid that people wouldn't post a less gigantic personal best, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I'm trying to get a sense of where actual catches lie in reference to feelings about what a trophy is and where goals are. Anyway, my goal is 50" ski, because I haven't caught one. Must be in the minority here.

I meant that with a little sarcasm. I'll try to use more smileys next time.

That pole has to be a little scewed. I find it hard to believe that over 50% of the people on this board have caught a 50+"
