| Just for a laugh I was wondering what the funniest thing you have ever seen on the lake was? I'm sure Ty, Laura and Corey got some good ones.
Mine would be seeing two guys in heavy boat traffic on the Fox Chain rowing a rental boat backwards (transom first). They were drenched and the boat was full of water when we told them it was wrong and they said they were told by the rental guy thats how you row it. If anyone know's Barnacle Bob I'm sure you can imagine his laugh seeing these two row away from the shore.
What's yours?

| I pulled up to a launch ramp last summer and noticed a front end of a pick up and the top of the cab sticking out of the water. Sitting along side the fully submerged truck were two guys just relaxing like it was a Lovely weekend. It was obvious what had happened. Worst part was there was also a boat still attached to the trailer that was under as well. This was right after Sept 11th and thier response was that after seeing That, this wasnt going to get them upset. A tow truck came soon after and pulled the whole mess out.[:blackeye:] |

| About ten years ago we were walleye fishing on the Wisconsin river and these 3 kids kept blowing by us all day in their speed boat thinking they were cool. After about an hour of this they got cockey and decided to have one guy sit right on the bow of the boat and the other sit on the top of the upper deck. ( I guess you had to see the size of this boat for the Wisconsin river) well anyways they go blowing by us at about 10 feet, or so and we gave them the friendly neighbor wave when all of a sudden the boat just abrubtly stoped, needless to say the guy on the bow ended up about 200 feet airborne and down river, with the second guy right on his tale. and the driver was head first into the front of the boat. After asking if everyone one was alright, we started to laugh and then they got all mad at us and said that we were a bunch of jerks. So at that time we said at least we werent the ones causing all the ruckess on the river, and they said "hey we have ever right to be here to" so we said fine and continued to troll up river. At the end of the day we headed back to the landing to our surprise the boat was still there stuck on the sand bar they hit, with all 3 of them only ankle deep in water trying to push this barge of a boat out. After driving buy they flaged us down and had enough nerve to ask us to help them out. Well being the nice people we are we did, and laughed while doing this. After they got off and moving we asked them if they learned a lesson from this. And the one kid replied, Yes you people from wisconsin are real jerks, you could of helped us before. So at this time we just shook our heads and headed off.. I guess it was funny if you would of saw how fast that boat stopped and the look on their airborne faces.

| One time I was trolling down the lake and saw a guy in a lawn chair on a canoe...thought it was pretty fun, when i passed on the the way back I saw him still rowing then he fell out....was hard not to laugh
Another time a guy had just put a rowboat int he back of his truck...and decided instead of walking 100 feet to the restroom to use the ramp... |

| Two very drunk guys with a 12' alum in the bed of a pickup backed down a ramp. They found the boat was wedged in tight between the wheel wells. They tied one end of a stout rope to the back of the boat and the other end of the rope to to a post out toward the end of the dock. "Ok, HIT IT!!" The truck burned rubber as the slack went out of the rope. Much more slack than these guys planned. The rope was suddenly tight, the boat came flying up into the air and then slammed down, the entire boat, on the cement. Not one bit of the boat was in the water. Did I mention they had left the small gas motor on the transom the whole time? The motor was knocked off the boat and IT bounced down the landing and into the water.[]

| The funniest and kind of creepiest thing I ever saw.....
On a very hot summer day my boat partner and I were witness
to something I hope that I never have to see again. We were
casting away when I hear my buddy say "Hey look at that guy"
I look over to see a grown man wearing nothing but tiny and
I mean tiny bikini swimsuit, standing on the middle seat of
a 14 ft. aluminum boat, casting plugs for musky! There was something so wrong about it I didn;t know where to start.
At first it was really hilarious pondering the "what if"
predicaments with throwing 10 in. of wood and not being
properly protected, if you get my drift. Then we became
a little too creeped out to continue fishing with this man still in sight. We actually picked up and split even though
we were on a great run. There should be some sort of regulations on fishing in public in those things, some sort
of citation from the DNR for "indecent angling" Oh, by the
way did I mention they were bright cherry red! Wow man, wow.
