I have already had the chance to troll the new swagger tail on Kinkaid just after the Chicago show and I'm VERY impressed. It is only a matter of time before it gets hit. I was also very impressed with the customer service and quality of baits Brian and his brother displayed in Chicago. Hopefully your trip from New York was well worth the effort!

I tested several of the prototypes when Brian first came out with them and, found them to be very well built and definately are fish catchers. Got 2 fish the first couple times out that were both mid-forties fish. He also has a weighted version that works real good in the water. These baits can be trolled at a good pace. There are alot of big fish in this baits future. Pat

Definately a nice looking and great working bait. I threw these in the pool at the Chicago Show and instantly knew I had to get my hands on a few of these. Definately going to be catching some fish for me and my clients in 2008!!
Excellent bait Brian!!!

Yeah i also had the chance to buy one at the Chicago show and man this thing runs great, i've only had a chance to throw it once because of the weather but once spring comes believe that this bait will be in the water at all times! The Chubbie is also a durable bait that i plan to do some damage with this year..keep up the good work guys!

Thanks guys,
Muskie_man sorry we will not be going to the ohio show this year.
We will be at the Blain show.
For now you can get them at http://www.muskytackleonline.com/.
We are still working on the color lineup and the suspending model for fall.
Brian.

MuskieE ,
As for how does it work without the tail?? Well, I don't know what to say. We never tried them without the tail.
The tails can be replaced in a minute. If you can change a hook (splitring) you can change the tail.
Rob, No custom colors but I am up for suggestions.

Nice looking bait. I think I would really like it for the surface and near surface use, but it's nice that it can get some depth too. Maybe another crescent wrench type bait!
About the tails: Do replacement tails have to be ordered through BK or are they a grub you can order or get other places?

Wow! When I first saw these lures, I didn't think anything special of them; however after seeing the video of it, I'm VERY impressed. I'll be looking to pick one up for the season.

I'm fairly certain the tail is a Kalins's Big N grub which should be available in a lot of places. I know that Thornes carries them for sure. I'll know more about the tail soon as I ordered one recently.

Thanks,
The tails are Kalins big n grub. They are cut and have a single hook threaded through, pinned in place. We will have the new color lineup soon. we will also have replaceable tails in more colors.( so you can mix and match). The tails will come with the hook installed ,pinned in place and have a split ring.

The thing that's cool to me, is that there are two really similar "new" baits right now, and yet they are both very different. It will be interesting to get my hands on both, and play with them. Looking forward to this white crap all over the ground being gone!

For those of you that never saw a Les Chubbie in action, Here you go.
It's hard to see in the footage but the lure hunts left and right.
Enjoy.

wow those are both really well built lures. The Swagger-tail runs like no lure i've ever seen and im sure that it will catch alot of big fish this year. The les chubbie seems to run really well too.
