I'll be there Friday - won't be bringing my son though. Last year my then 3-year old went into full on hysterics and laid on the ground in front of the Roberts Outdoors booth doing a screaming "cement snow angel" in front of everyone. Good times.

Gerard,

We are actually hopefully heading down to Milwaukee around noon or a little after on Friday. PP and I have a couple other friends joining us and will be staying at his dads place there in Milwaukee. So were hoping to make Norm Wild and Steve Worrall's seminars Friday night and will be around the rest of the weekend.

Shane, I hold the record for embarrassment by kids at a musky show. I was on the ground holding my sack after my son whacked it with one of laura's minnow buckets at the extreme show. It was not 10 seconds into meeting Pete K for the first time. "it looks like you have your hands full" he said.

I will be at the milwaukee show on saturday, mama mias and the swap meet. Not bringing my kids but I am still going to wear a cup just in case.

Todd - that is pretty ugly - yikes. Some great guy with very good intentions from the Roberts Outdoor booth came running and gave my son a spinnerbait to calm him down. Probably not the brightest thing in the world to hand a spastic 3-year old something with a huge hook but at least he tried.

Go Pack Go may come with K-bob and I (if he does, Gerry we will not impose a third guy, Krishna will have to deal with two that imbibe ,lol).

If I do in fact bring a handle....

GEEEEOOOODDD! (Smoking's laugh factor), I guess it will be a clandestine mission, because the hotel bartender would probably frown on outside booze. She would be thinking "why are all these guys just wanting glasses of ice????????"

So yes, Virginia (smokin Joe) there is a Santa claus, and Nightmare be thy name.

Hanging with K-bob, Gerry, Rick, Joe, and any other of my MF buddies: Priceless.

Just seemed to make more sense staying home and trying to make a dent in the orders I already have.

I apologized if that jammed anybody up.

You guy's are killing me...not sure what I was thinking a few months ago when I committed to an out of town get together this very same weekend....errrgghh!!

I always make this show, and the show itself is a good time, but going downtown for an incredible steak with a bunch of good friends, then back for some "libations" is sure going to be missed this year!!!

I'll try to remember to bring a Shimano. Not a Calcutta, I think a Corsair, and I think it needs a bit of work to correct the thumb bar issue. It was my boys for a few years. He did well with it. I think it has new Tuff Line on it, too.

Joe,
I have a few left haded reels & will bring them to the swap meet. All are ABu's... Here is my contact info if you want to know any details on the reels.

[email protected]

Everyone is talking about the Pizza & it sounds excellent. I wanted to try SobelmanS Pub & Grill since all I hear is that it's the best burger on the planet. It's that or Mo's Irish Pub... Then it's off to the swap meet & I'm purging big time. Everything from Bulldawgs to roughrunners & a slew of bucktails are up for sale. I even have a muskie clock that I won at a show & everything will be priced to move.

If anyone can give me report on either of the pub's I sure would apprecheate it..

Thanks
Mike

I highly recommend Sobleman's. The Sobleman Burger is great! It's all about the bun. Course, bacon, three cheeses, and Jalapino's on top of the burger make it special. I used to eat there at least once a week for lunch. Dave also makes a pretty good Bloody Mary. It's nearly a meal in itself! Sobleman's. One of the few things I miss about Milwaukee.

But it's Mama Mia's for me. Tradition is hard hard thing to break. See you there! "Clear!"
