Location: Madison, WI | I'm having a some serious withdrawls today. I don't know if it's the fact that I quit smoking or i'm getting to the point where i'm missing open water. But I'm having problems getting muskies off the brain. What are some good movies out there to pass the time?
Currently I have:
Musky Madness II
Weed Fishing Vol. 1 by Gregg Thomas
Current ones that struck my interest.

Any comments on either of those?
1000th post BTW!!!

Location: Medford, WI | Scott, I haven't seen either of those vid's at all. However, I do own Muskie Madness 1 & 2, Muskie Town (Badfish), and the above mentioned Muskies on the Shield. I've really been looking at Gregg Thomas' video. Would you be interested in trading that one for any of the ones that I have?
I completely agree with those guys about the Shield video...the Bobbie Bait hit is priceless; definitely the coolest strike I've ever seen. Just get back to me if you're up for a trade.
Thanks, Jake |

Location: Verona, WI | That Gregg Thomas Weed Fishing Version 1 is really good if you want to understand trolling. Most videos are just guys catching fish and talking tactics. Gregg actually spends most of the trolling sessions working out of a parking lot actually teaching how to set up lines for weed fishing, baits to use, etc. Probably my favorite video for learning something new vs. just seeing fish caught.

Location: Richland Center, WI. | Hey Scott,
You still coming down to Richland Center every month for safety meetings? I can send you a list of videos I have (both DVD and VHS) and you can pick some out, watch them and bring them back when you are back in town. Unless you want to build up the video library, this is a good way to save a couple bucks. Let me know.

Location: Germantown, WI | Scott,
I've got both of the In-Fisherman videos you listed and almost all the other ones, except for the Greatest Musky Video. I've also got most of the Jim Saric vidoes and the Steve Heiting videos. Add to that a couple of Joe Bucher, a couple of Pete Maina, and at least 5 Mehsikomer vids. I also just got the 2 new Linder videos for Christmas. I also have Muskies on the Shield and the Greg Thomas vid. Give me a shout the next time you are in Milwaukee. I'll let you borrow whichever ones you want.
Now that I've listed them it really sounds like a lot. I'm glad my wife doesn't read this site.

| I would second the positive comments on the Big Blades, Big Muskies video....picked one up at the Chicago show and really enjoyed it. Some very big fish, good video quality and professionally done. There's an ad in the new MH about where to call to order it. I would also recommend the Pearson video...some great footage in that one as well. |
