| Come-on you guys,with all the people on line some one can come up with an educated guess to the question. What is louder to the fish(under water) a electric trolling motor or a fourstroke kicker? Remember the noise of the electric is under water and most noise from a outboard is above water. Which makes the least noise under the water? |

| I think they both make a ton of noise and that you can NEVER sneak up on a fish by using a electric or kicker motor. I think that you would be better off with the kicker motor and going from reverse to neutral while working a area. The on/off of an electric will spook more fish. |
